Before gaming web sites, magazines were the first to go. But, some times Internet sites do become defunct like 1UP or GameSpy. Yesterday, the GameTrailers.com Twitter account announced that February 8, 2016 would be its last day.

The founder and voice of the site Brandon Jones had a similar tweet. GameTrailers was a go to for trailer releases at first, but eventually grew into its own with notable staff members, its own community and shows from famous industry members like Geoff Keighley and Michael Pachter.
